The mayor of Monfslcon, Ana Maria Cisint, attracted attention after announcing that Muslim collective prayer will no longer be allowed in the city. After this ban, more than 8,000 people protested against it, as well as against the anti-IZlam campaign of Madame Cisint, who according to many observers, uses hatred IZlam to increase her visibility in order to run for office in the European elections which will take place in June 2024.
